This refrigerator is a good choice, despite the blip. It features a large freezer compartment that is not common for counter-depth French-door refrigerators. It also has a large capacity for frozen food compared to other models.

Inside the fridge, there are 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment has 18.5 cubic feet, which is standard for a French-door fridge at this price. It has a decent sized freezer in the left side. However it's not the most spacious one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments for the perfect storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is good-looking, too. The LED lighting adds an appealing touch. The storage bins in the door have a third shelf which can be folded down to store large items. The drawers include temperature controls that let you set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, however I found their plastic textured coatings to be a bit rough on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes all the features you would expect from a refrigerator in this price range. This includes Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices, lets you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and has a ton of customization options. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the fridge or freezer must be defrosted and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS came with Precise Fill which is an option that is available in a handful of other GE fridges that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to disperse at a time. It does offer a countdown feature on the fridge's display to display how much water you have left, but it's not as useful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a striking piece. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment which keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer periods, and two compressors for preserving food items. The ice maker we tested was one of the most efficient and produces pyramid shaped ice using minimal water. This fridge is perfect for a single household or a kitchenette that wants a built-in appearance and top-of-the highest quality food preservation.

This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test, for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed by more than a fraction, this is crucial to prevent freezer burn. The fridge's refrigerator section also performed well, achieving the desired initial set temperature within an hour and maintaining that temperature steady over the course of our tests.

Bosch is known for its top-quality appliances. Therefore, it's no surprise that the Bosch counter depth fridge can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. This app lets you monitor and control your refrigerator remotely on your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive however, it offers excellent features and functionality at a fair price.

It is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the fridge. You may need to get creative with tall items because the fridge has a small shelf space. The shelves are also not spillproof and can easily be damaged or stained by sharp items. The trays can be easily removed from the refrigerator. However, they should be cleaned regularly to prevent the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth refrigerator is a great choice for those who require plenty of space in an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge features an ordinary French-door design with gallon-sized door bins on each door and two rows of shelves for spill-capture and a set more spacious drawers. The top shelf on the right side can be folded in order to create more space for taller items. The other issue we have with this refrigerator is its doors. The handles with a sunken design allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However, taller people still have a difficult time closing them without slamming. It would have been much better if these had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is a great choice for those looking to combine the look of a French door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model, and it cools well and has a nice layout. It's also a bit less than the best counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which can make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option if you want a French-door fridge that won't break the budget. It's a basic design that's not as striking visually as other models however it comes with enough features to make it a solid pick. Its most notable feature is the temperature adjustable drawer which helps keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large ice maker and a water dispenser.

Another nice feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer allows you to use the majority of your fridge's cooling power to this area so that you can keep food items that require special attention. You can adjust the feature using an adjustable slider that is located just in the middle of the drawer. You can also adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I have found that the generic settings are more effective than the specific ones.

During my tests, the refrigerator's temperatures were fairly consistent across all areas of the refrigerator. Temperatures at the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary very far from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a great performance, but it isn't quite at the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be connected with a smart thermostat to obtain more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is made of stainless steel with a grey body with a "smudge-proof" finish. It does a great job of repelling fingerprints and streaks even when compared to the shiny stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
